About Tanzania Scouts Association.
Scouting entered Zanzibar in 1912 and later Tanganyika 1917 and the Scouting exists to date as a bonafide organization with a positive role to play in preparing the young persons from the age of 5 years as Cub Scouts to the age of 26 years as Rover Scouts and well groomed for service to the community and the world and carrying the banner of Messenger of Peace “Creating a better World”.

CUB SCOUTS 5-10 AGES: Embark on outdoor adventures like hikes, weekend camps and canoeing. As a Pack, Cubs are encouraged to try new and exciting activities including STEM projects and cultural experiences.
JUNIOR SCOUTS 11-14 AGES: Blaze your own trail. Delve into more leadership opportunities and develop self-confidence by planning adventures with your Troop and giving back to the community in a meaningful way.
SENIOR SCOUTS 15-17: Push your potential. Develop life skills to climb the mountain of your goals and reach your personal summit, embarking on greater expeditions and acquiring real-world experience.
ROVER SCOUTS 18-26: The world awaits. Experience fun and challenging expeditions with peers and drive your personal ambitions with support from a mentor, better preparing you for success.
